Ancient Temple is written almost entirely
in open harmonic fifths creating a piece with Eastern flair that students

This late elementary level solo is written entirely in
bass clef for both hands. It's a wonderful opportunity for students
to explore the making bold sounds in the bass clef notes. There are
also some interesting patterns that require the left hand to cross over
the right hand.
Arabian Dance is reminiscent of the middle eastern
culture. It is composed of numerous half steps and staccatos to give
it that Arabian flavor. This late elementary solo will entice your students

Arabian Tale is an early intermediate
solo that embraces Middle Eastern tonalities and culture. Its haunting
melody is mysterious, captivating, and enjoyable for both the listener
and the performer.
Arkansas Suite explores the sights and sounds of
the state of Arkansas. It features four movements, each written in
a different style. Students will travel to majestic Sugarloaf Mountain,
experience a little ragtime in Little Rock, float gently down the Red River
and celebrate in Maumelle through the music in this suite. The variety
of styles and short length of each movement makes this ideal for recital
programs.
Bald Eagle depicts the awesome grace of our country's symbol. Written in D Major, it is written mostly for the early intermediate student. The melodic right hand and arpeggiated left hand create a beautiful, majestic combination. Perfect for that patriotic concert!
Ballad in A minor,while it may have an ordinary title, is far from the normal ballad! This is an awesome, early intermediate piece that will knock your socks off! It begins with a strong, moderato tempo until it builds up through the next section. The B section is more subdued and relaxes into an andante speed. The next section arrives with an accented minor third, and continues through as a variation on the first theme. It builds until the final climax with a ritardando...and then the final section is back to the beginning theme. This makes an exciting recital piece!
A lively barn dance atmosphere is portrayed in this early intermediate level piece, with sounds resembling country fiddlers playing at a hoedown. Three pages in length, the tempo is "con vivo." It's in 4/4 time in the key of G Major.
