This series is ideal for beginning students ages 11 and
up. Book 1 is a condensed and more mature version of the Primer Level and
Level One of the basic Piano Adventures method. Book 1 starts with
a few pages of pre-reading tunes and then jumps into reading from the staff.
The tunes included in this accelerated version for the older beginner appeal
to the adolescent and teen set with folk tunes from around the world, familiar
classic arrangements, spirituals, and fun, appealing originals by the authors.
Book 1 covers fundamental rhythms (including eighth notes), all the notes
of the grand staff, C position, G position, and more.

ALFRED PUBLISHING
The All-in-One Course combines all the pages from
Alfred's Basic Piano Course Lesson Books Levels 1A, 1B and 2 plus
selected pages from the Theory, Recital and Fun Solo Books and combines
them into a sequential five-book series. This eliminates the need to carry
multiple books to each lesson; however, there is less supplementary material
in this course than in others that include supplementary books. At the
completion of Book 5, the student will be ready to continue into Level
3 of Alfred's Basic Piano Course, or any intermediate-level lesson
book.

ALFRED PUBLISHING
Complete Level 1 is especially designed to appeal to the
student who starts piano study later than the average beginner. It is also
useful for the young student who shows unusual musical aptitude. This book
fully presents all the principles introduced in the regular Lesson Books
1A and 1B of Alfred's Basic Piano Course. The student moves more
quickly to the grand staff and the book generally progresses at a faster
pace. However, there are no gaps and there are plenty of overlaps.
